I am a woman with a vision!
Sweet, decadent, crisp vision!
With a vision of my career and all the painful obstacles that come with ambition.
With a vision of my retirement, and all the lovely trees that’ll decorate the boundary of Annie and mine’s rescued animal sanctuary.
With a vision for myself, who I want to be as cosmic energy, enjoy my human experience for a bit.
My vision for Arunita is a woman of anti-apathy. She cares, so deeply and so thoroughly about all around her and all inside her. In a world of haste and distaste, she finds kindness and compassion to be her weapon of choice.
She’s the type of person who’s room you walk into, and it feels clean. There’s incense dancing around you and Chakra tuning music playing 24/7. There is sanctuary in her space.
She exercises and does yoga regularly, not just for the aesthetic, but because she cares about herself, both 16-year old and 60-year old her.
My vision for Arunita is movement and stillness, simultaneously, all the time! She does not care for stagnation so she continues to swirl and twirl wherever she feels. But in that movement, she finds stillness. She finds silence. She finds space.
My Arunita cries, a lot. She laughs a lot. She values her emotions but doesn’t see them as much more. Despite her constant coming-of-age spirals, she can always come back to herself. Anytime, anywhere.
She’s more than okay to admit she’s wrong. That she’s so ignorant. That she’s immature and that she makes bad decisions. And a lot of them. The joy of imperfection warms her heart and bones.
I don’t care if anyone listens to Arunita, but I do care that she listens to everyone. I know she’s otherwise an alpha and a woman of action, but I want her to be receptive and silent and learn to honour all around her.
My vision for Arunita is art. That she creates it regularly and has the most fabulous time doing so! A multi-modal artist she is, embracing acrylic and watercolour, pencils and sharpies. But also, she is art. She is a masterpiece, conceptualised, designed and created by her very self! Each paint stroke meticulous and each paint splatter meaningful.
I have great visions for Arunita, and I am so excited to see her live it all out. I should probably stop writing this down and starting living it up ;)
