Life is Good

I was walking home from the bus stop today. It was a gorgeous spring evening.

The sun was gracefully setting, and with that, using his warm and glowing limbs to give his children a final hug before the motherly moon took over.

The gentle breeze played with my hair and soothed my skin.

My belly was full from a gorgeous chilli basil stirfry and fruity chatime.

My heart was full from the contentment of spending the entire afternoon with Theo and Ayisha, laughing until we ached in every muscle possible about Theo choking on herbal jelly in the intimidating uni library and then being shushed by annoyed uni students.

I was walking home and I felt aligned with the universe and with time and space.

I remember thinking,

“Life is good.”

It’s hard to remember that a lot of the times, especially when things aren’t going as smoothly or filled with joy as today was.

I understand.

But in the days where it’s hard to remember that life is good,

I hope future me comes right back to this post,

And is reminded of all that is good in life.

I hope you do too.

Awwwww uwu. I remember that we were laughing because all I wrote, in the span, of 30 minutes was a title ('PDHPE study questions') and 'binge drinking' XD.
