True Freedom

Updated: Apr 3, 2019

Jim Carey, once wisely said,

“When you truly don’t care what anyone thinks of you, you’ve reached a dangerous level of freedom.”

Holy badangus is he right.

Subconsciously, we all alter who we are, the way we act, the way we speak, and our very essence to the environment we are in. It can be quite a useful skill. But the issue lies when we become everyone else’s expectations of who we are.

There are levels of freedom. Each level provides you with a step closer to the true bliss of freedom (lol I have no idea what that means)

Why does freedom become dangerous? Because you can no longer be controlled. Everyone else’s power over you dissolves and it just becomes you in all your glory, without a mask, without an excuse. Just you. And that is really scary to the people who feed off of you.

It doesn't matter to me whether this post gets 0 reads or 584. I’m just glad that I’m free to share my ideas and concepts with the universe. Bake some cookies. Try blue mascara. Paint your nails something wild. Sing loudly and dance wherever you are. Have fun with your newfound freedom!
